Modification of the Leeb Impact Device for Measuring Hardness by the Dynamic Instrumented Indentation Method

The article is devoted to modification of the impact devices Leeb hardness testers for implementation dynamic instrumented indentation method. results obtained made it possible construct a load–displacement curve using primary EMF signals and determine values dissipated elastic body energy, maximal load indentation, residual penetration depth geometric parameters region, namely contact area indenter with surface volume displaced material. listed process allow us measure hardness, modulus yield strength test objects portable testers.
